KUKA is expanding the range in the field of autonomous mobile robots (AMR) by introducing the KMR iisy mobile cobot and the KMP 1500P mobile platform.

Both KMR iisy as a fully integrated combination of cobot and transport platform, and KMP 1500P as an innovative mobile platform combine flexibility and reliability in demanding environments. They are optimally equipped for production halls and warehouses, thus making them ideal partners for Industry 4.0.
Smart partner in manufacturing and logistics – the KMR iisy
The mobile cobot KMR iisy moves quickly and safely through the workspace, making it flexible to use at various workstations in assembly, intralogistics and as a robot service system. It consists of the LBR iisy, optionally with a load capacity of 11 or 15 kilograms, and a mobile platform that can carry an additional load of up to 200 kilograms. Its low-particle and low-emission properties and ESD certification allow the KMR iisy to be used in cleanrooms without hesitation. Its smart control is also impressive: Both the cobot and the platform are controlled via the same smartPAD pro. A second operating device is therefore not necessary.

When it comes to optimizing intralogistic processes, the KMP 1500P mobile platform is a groundbreaking automation solution. It can transport up to one and a half tons of a wide range of materials and workpieces, with an impressive stroke of 60 millimeters and precise positioning accuracy. It is an indispensable partner for picking goods, supplying materials to lines and cells, and transporting workpieces in process linking.
