KMP 600P

The KMP 600P is a compact all-rounder that can transport up to 600 kilograms and is particularly suitable for cramped production environments. The autonomous mobile robot (AMR) offers an excellent price/performance ratio and, thanks to inductive charging, enables 24/7 operation and extended battery life.


Easy integration into any production process

The KMP 600P is the perfect solution for optimizing intralogistic systems. It improves storage processes, increases the flexibility of assembly lines and makes material flow more efficient in complex industrial environments. Since the platform is VDA 5050 compatible, it can be easily and quickly integrated into any existing production system. It shows its strengths thanks to its compact dimensions of 980 x 686 x 270 mm as well as its flexible mobility thanks to differential drive technology: Not only can it move forwards and backwards, but it can also turn on the spot and take curves with a defined radius. Remote control allows you to choose between SLAM navigation and QR codes on the floor, the latter being advantageous for production environments that change often.

Maximum safety, internationally certified

With IP54 protection, the KMP 600P is protected against water spray and dust. Beyond this, a QR code reader on the top identifies the charge. This allows the mobile platform to avoid incorrect loads and improves the traceability of goods. When moving in space, two 3D cameras protect the platform, load and equipment: Obstacles are reliably detected and bypassed.

International CE and UL certifications, among others, ensure maximum safety. These can also facilitate the work of the integrators. KUKA’s cooperation with TÜV Rheinland as a 3rd partner has proven valuable here.

Efficiency meets user-friendliness

Inductive charging for 24/7 operation and reduced TCO

On the one hand, the KMP 600P is charged at conductive charging stations, which it controls independently. Above all, however, the new inductive charging options during the ongoing production process bring a significant increase in efficiency: As part of this, the AMR is on an inductive charging pad that can be flexibly integrated into the process. Thanks to short charging times and contact-free charging, inactive phases in which the AMR does not move can be used for charging. This enables continuous operation. It also significantly extends the life of the battery. This has a positive effect on the TCO.

Maintenance made easy: Fast access to all components

The easy maintenance concept makes the AMR is easy to maintain. Thanks to its modular design, all components are easily accessible and can be exchanged both quickly and cost-effectively. The black lift plate can be easily removed by unscrewing a few screws. The inductive charging coil can also be easily removed. And critical parts can be replaced within a few minutes via the maintenance hatch.

Simple and intuitive configuration – no programming

The user-friendly and intuitive KUKA.AMR Fleet software enables effortless start-up without program code lines. Thanks in particular to the easy-to-understand drag-and-drop function and an extensive function library, workflow can be optimized quickly. This allows, for example, AMR routes to be intuitively replanned or modified in a map. Special programming is not necessary to configure the platform – thus saving time and resources.
