Conditions of participation
Organiser
Unless otherwise stated in the competition, KUKA CEE GmbH, Gewerbeallee 12, 4221 Steyregg, hereinafter referred to as "KUKA", is the "Organiser".
2. Participation and prize
2.1 By participating in the competition, the participant agrees to these terms and conditions of participation.
2.2 The prize and the course of the competition, such as the participation period or type of prize, depends on the respective competition and is described directly there.
2.3 The winner will be determined and contacted within five working days of the end of the respective participation period. If a winner does not confirm the prize within three working days, the prize will be forfeited and another winner will be determined through a new selection process.
2.4 The participant agrees that, in the event of a win, his/her name, the winning entry (e.g. social media post or similar) and the fact of winning and, if applicable, a photo of him/her may be used and published by the organiser for advertising purposes.
2.5 Participants in a competition may be
2.5.1. natural persons who register for the respective competition and fulfil the other conditions of participation. Persons resident in Austria who are at least 18 years old at the time of participation are eligible to participate.
2.5.2. legal persons who register for the respective competition and fulfil the other conditions of participation. KUKA is authorised to assume that the management has given its consent to participation at the time of registration.
2.6 Notification will be made by e-mail or via the respective social media platform.
3. social media
3.1 If a competition is offered via a social media platform, KUKA is the organiser of the competition. There is never any connection to the respective social media platform and is neither sponsored, supported nor organised by the social media platform. The guidelines of the social media platform remain unaffected and additionally applicable. The participant can delete his/her social media post at any time.
3.2 If a winner can be determined by the information provided by the participants within the social media platform, the social media platform remains the sole recipient. KUKA only analyses the data on the social media platform and does not store it itself. The winner will be notified via the social media platform.
3.3 If the evaluation of the information provided by the participants requires storage by KUKA, the deletion periods of point 6 apply. The winner will be notified via the social media platform.
4. Exclusion from the competition, cancellation and modification of the competition
4.1 In the event of a culpable breach of the conditions of participation, the organiser is entitled to exclude the participant with immediate effect.
4.2 Employees of the Organiser and other persons involved in the conception and implementation of the individual competitions are excluded from participation.
4.3 The Organiser is entitled to cancel the competition without prior notice and immediately for good cause. The competition may also be cancelled due to force majeure or other legal reasons.
5. Data security and data protection
5.1 The personal data will be processed by the organiser in compliance with data protection regulations, will not be published and will be used exclusively for the purpose of running the competition and awarding the prize. The personal data will only be stored until the prize has been handed over. After that, the personal data of non-winners will be deleted. The winner remains stored for 7 years.
5.2 Processed personal data of participants may be in the case of competitions directed at natural persons:
5.2.1. full name, participation in the competition, email address, answer to the winning question if applicable, social media channel and username if applicable;
5.2.2. for winners, additional address for prize delivery. in the case of co-operations, forwarding of the full name, depending on the prize, the address or e-mail address, to partner companies.
5.3 For competitions directed at legal entities, the following applies:
5.3.1 The participating company registers with a non-personal e-mail address. If the company designates a personal e-mail address, it shall ensure that the necessary consent to the data transfer has been obtained and that KUKA is authorised to use the personal data for the purpose of the competition.

6. Miscellaneous
6.1 Competitions cannot be combined with other promotions. The prize entitlement is non-transferable and does not entitle the winner to exchange or return previously purchased goods and/or services from KUKA or the partner company. Cash payment, modification or exchange of the prize are excluded.
6.2 The prize will be handed over at one of the organisers' locations, at the location of the competition or the prize will be sent by post or email, at the organisers' discretion.
6.3 All operating, ancillary, repair and/or other consequential costs arising from the prize or its receipt or use shall be borne by the participant.
6.4 Legal recourse is excluded.
6.5 Questions about the competition can be directed to marketing.AT@kuka.com.
6.6 Should individual provisions of the conditions of participation be or become invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a provision that is appropriate in the individual case and comes closest to the purpose of the invalid provision.
6.7 Austrian law shall apply exclusively.
