As in all industrial production, KUKA's robotic assembly also consumes energy, for example when processing robot components. But how can the production of such base bodies be made more energy-efficient and thus more sustainable?Christian Liedtke and Hendrik Nieweg from KUKA Digital have also asked themselves this question. Their idea: To save energy and produce more sustainably, the first step is to make data transparent. This is the only way to identify where there is potential for savings.
