European Robotics Week 2017
From 17 to 26 November 2017, the European Robotics Week took place. As part of this year's "European Robotics Week", KUKA is opening its doors to young and old. The company offered interested visitors of all ages the opportunity to experience the world of robotics. At various events such as lectures in the Augsburg Planetarium, a crafting contest for children and an evening lecture KUKA gave answers to questions like: Why do we need robots? What can they do and where are they used? On the other hand, KUKA gave an outlook on the future of automation.
Some school classes but also kindergartens and elementary schools from the area came to the KUKA factory premises, in order to arouse the interest of the youngest in robotics.
