Was does iiQKA mean?

The name iiQKA is comprised of three components: ii, IQ, and QKA.

 

  • ii: We make innovation work through industrial intelligence, shortened to "ii". What means this to us: we deliver intelligent products, solutions and services that give our customers in logistics and automation a competitive advantage. The interplay between our competencies and fields of business is what makes us globally unique. And keeps us focussed on our customers in their industries or local requirements.
  • IQ refers to the intelligence quotient, underscoring the concept of industrial intelligence _beyond automation.
  • QKA represents KUKA, and may be pronounced in the same way. As one of the world’s leading suppliers of intelligent automation solutions, KUKA offers customers everything they need from a single source: from robots and cells to fully automated systems and their networking in markets such as automotive, electronics, metal & plastic, consumer goods, e-commerce/retail and healthcare.

  • We will try to reply to bug reports within 24 hours.
  • We consider feature requests very carefully and will use it to improve iiQKA. All feature requests will be discussed directly with our R&D team, and we'll reply to you with follow-ups on your ideas.

What's the difference between LBR iisy 3 R760, LBR iisy 11 R1300, and LBR iisy 15 R930?

The LBR iisy robot comes in three variations. LBR stands for "Leichtbauroboter" (German for lightweight robot). The ii in iisy stands for industrial intelligence, and iisy represents the English word "easy" because the robot is so simple to use. The following number represents the payload of the robot arm in kilograms. For instance, the LBR iisy 15 has a 15 kg payload. The last part of the name denotes the reach of the robot arm in millimeters. For instance, R930 has a reach of 930 mm.
