Timo, you have been a brand ambassador for automation expert KUKA for 10 years. Looking back, what were the highlights of your collaboration with KUKA?
Timo Boll: The collaboration began with the advertising shoot for "The Duel" against the KUKA robot KR AGILUS. That was of course a great success and a special opportunity for me to immerse myself in robotics. The many encounters on my KUKA China trips were great and always very warm in my "second" home. Also, recently the 125th anniversary celebration with the huge employee party was exciting. It was great to meet so many KUKA employees.
3rd number 1 in the world rankings, most successful German table tennis player: You have achieved an enormous amount in your long career. What is your next goal?
First and foremost, it's important for me to keep enjoying the sport and stay healthy. At my age, I almost have to invest more than I did at the beginning of my career. But I'm happy that it's still working at such a high level. That's why I have the motivation to qualify again for the Olympic Games in Paris. I am curious myself if it will work out and I appreciate the support of many KUKANER.
