A dual study course provides you with the best possible entry to the world of work and optimum possibilities for development. This form of education links theoretical and practical knowledge, thereby forming the perfect jumping-off point for your career. KUKA offers several dual study courses at the Augsburg and Bremen sites. The duration and intensity of the dual study courses vary depending on where the training takes place, as it is governed by the federal state concerned.
In dual studies, you pick up practical experience on a continuous basis even while you are studying. Another advantage: your apprenticeship payment is governed by a collective-bargaining agreement. This means you do not have to look around for part-time work, instead you can concentrate fully on your studies – at the same time as training in key qualifications with practical work in the company.
One variant of dual studies is referred to as the co-operative education program. We offer this at our sites in Augsburg and Bremen. In this, you follow a university course which is combined with a full apprenticeship. At the end of the co-operative education program, you will be the proud holder of two valuable qualifications: a Bachelor’s degree and a graduation certificate from the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (CIC).
