KUKA secures major automotice contract
Augsburg, 11 November 2015 - In the third quarter of 2015, the Robotics division of KUKA AG received a further major order from the BMW Group.

The premium car manufacturer awarded a contract for the supply of about 1,000 industrial robots of the KR QUANTEC generation, including the KR C4 controller, and additional robots from the new KR FORTEC heavy-duty series. The robots will be used primarily for joining and handling applications in body-in-white production in the North American market.
