German Cahncellor Angela Merkel forced to postpone KUKA visit due to weather conditions
Augsburg, 23 February 2015. German Chancellor Angela Merkel has had to cancel her planned visit to KUKA AG today at short notice. Her flight was not able to take off on account of poor weather conditions. KUKA regrets this development but is confident that it will be possible to reschedule the visit in close consultation with the Federal Chancellery. KUKA will communicate the new date for the visit in good time as soon as it has been arranged.

The Chancellor had planned to speak with KUKA CEO Dr. Till Reuter about forward-looking robot and control technology for the factory of the future and to see the latest developments for herself on a tour of the company.
