Robotics lecture for children

Attention children: A robotics lecture will be held for children aged eight to twelve at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, November 28 and Friday, November 30. How do robots work and what are they used for? KUKA will answer these questions. The lecture is aimed at children between the ages of eight and twelve and will last about one-and-a-half hours. Parents will be served coffee and cake in the robot Café. Please register at redaktion@kuka.com or call 0821/797-3722 if you would like to attend.

Budding young artists can participate in KUKA's drawing competition by submitting their masterpieces titled "The robot – my friend and helper" by December 2. Children ten years and under are eligible. We have some exciting prizes for the winners. Please e-mail your pictures to redaktion@kuka.com or send them by snail mail to: KUKA, Frau Stuber-Koeppe, Zugspitzstraße 140, 86165 Augsburg.

But KUKA didn't forget the adults. KUKA will give a presentation titled "Robotics for Everyone Part II – robotics and automation for the future" at KUKA College, Park 3000 in Gersthofen, on Friday, November 30 at 7 p.m. We will again have top-notch speakers this year. KUKA's development managers Dr. Johannes Härtl, Dr. Michael Haag and Dr. Ralf Koeppe will offer exciting insights into KUKA's technology incubator. The presentation is aimed at ordinary people who are excited about technology and who always wanted to know more about robotics and automation.
