Lights-Out Manufacturing

At IMTS 2024, KUKA showcased a fully-automated machine shop demonstration. The cell includes a 3D bin picking robot that picks and sorts blank parts. A KMP 1500P autonomous mobile robot (AMR) automates the transport of blank parts to a machine tool, where a second robot loads and unloads the machining operation. A second KMP 1500P AMR transports the finished parts from the machine tool. See the new version of this lights-out production floor at Automate 2025!
