KUKA success story: Field Service Engineer, David Wardell

I joined Swisslog in April 2020 as Field Service Engineer after working with Swisslog colleagues in a previous role.  Since then I have installed multiple cranes at various Swisslog customer sites throughout the UK. It’s a great company to work for I really have made some great friends along the way.   I enjoy sharing my experiences and work through LinkedIn, which also helps to generate customer interest.  One of my posts on LinkedIn led to the sale of 3 vertical cranes to a new customer!

Swisslog really do invest in training and I have completed an electrical multi-tasking course, management safety course, site safety management course, working at height course and first aid at height course, to name just a few.  I enjoy taking in part in the training that Swisslog has on offer to develop my current skills and learn new ones.

I love working as a team and being part of the Swisslog family, Swisslog are a key player in Automation and this is all down to the great team work of everyone who works here.  I am excited for the future of Swisslog and it’s great to be part of a successful and growing company.

I enjoy taking in part in the training that Swisslog has on offer to develop my current skills and learn new ones.

David Wardell, Field Service Engineer, Swisslog

I’m now involved in training, customer service, conformance and accident investigations. It’s a challenging role, but it’s rewarding, especially since I’m known on site as ‘the man who will always help’!

It’s good to be part of the KUKA group, and I am so thankful for the opportunities my team and the senior managers have given me. Without their faith, training and the shared knowledge, who knows where I would be?
