Ground Breaking Ceremony for new plant of KUKA Systems China
KUKA Systems China, affiliate company of KUKA AG, held a New Plant Ground Breaking Ceremony in March 2017. KUKA’s top management and the local government representatives attended this event to witness this important milestone for KUKA.

Opening a new chapter in China
KUKA Systems (China) Co., Ltd has been committed to using German advanced technology to provide highly automated solutions for automobile industry, especially in body-in-white business as well as powertrain solutions. In the beginning of 2017, KUKA Systems China established an aerospace business unit to provide advanced automation solutions for China aerospace industry.
New Plant in Songjiang: Construction started in March
The new plant will provide more efficient services for customers. The new production hall covers more than 30,000 square meters. This project is foreseen to be completed at the end of 2017. Mr. Wang Jiangbing, CEO of KUKA Systems China, expressed his sincere welcome and grateful thanks to all the guests. "KUKA Systems China’s business is developing rapidly and the client base continues to expand", he mentioned in his welcome speech, "the new plant Ground Breaking Ceremony was a very important milestone in the success story of KUKA Systems China's development."
Groundbreaking China
The local governor, Cheng Xiangmin expressed his welcome to KUKA Systems China Shanghai Songjiang Technology Innovation Corridor. He pointed, since KUKA Systems China settled in Songjiang, it has made a great contribution to Songjiang’s economic development.
