Robot overhaul

During the robot overhaul, an experienced KUKA technician replaces the common wear parts of your robot (belts, needle bearings, compressed air hose). The entire robot is thoroughly cleaned and all sensitive areas are relubricated. A functional test is carried out in advance, during which any conspicuous or sporadic faults are checked and agreed with the customer. A 12-hour endurance test with appropriate weights is carried out before return shipment.

In order to keep production downtime to a minimum, a suitable loan unit can be ordered. Optionally, a KUKA technician can dismantle your robot on site and, if necessary, set up the loaner unit.

To avoid unforeseen breakdowns as far as possible and to be able to use the robot for as long as possible.

If necessary, a suitable rental appliance can be requested as a replacement - so downtime can be planned and reduced to a minimum.

Basic cleaning of the robot and renewal of the lubricant

The robot is completely dismantled, cleaned and sensitive areas are relubricated.

Replacement of known wear parts - compressed air hose, belt, needle bearing (axles 2 and 3)

Replacing wear parts significantly reduces the risk of downtime.

Our experienced technician will point out other possible defects in advance.

12h endurance test with nominal load

After the overhaul or repair, the robot is tested with weights under a nominal load for 12 hours to rule out faults.

Warranty on the replaced parts

A further 6 months warranty on all replaced parts.

10% discount on all other spare parts

If further defects or faulty parts are discovered during the overhaul, KUKA will immediately issue a separate quotation for the replacement + an additional 10% discount on all spare parts included.

For KR Agilius 1 versions: KR6 R700, KR6 R900, KR10 R900, KR10 R1100 (all special models on request).

Foundation (recommendation)

Before dismantling your robot, KUKA recommends pinning in the base/base stand to avoid point misalignment. Alternatively, the program must be re-teached manually after the replacement. Pinning and reteaching must be carried out by the customer.
